A miscarriage is an unusual experience for women, especially young ladies. It traumatizes a woman physically and emotionally when it happens. She can feel as if the whole world is against her, doesn’t know what to do, how to tell her husband because she might not be sure of how she will be judged by her husband or boyfriend.

Many women are accused of committing a deliberate abortion when it is not the real case. Scientifically, a loss of an embryo happens between 2 months pregnant and 5 months pregnant, and during this period a woman worries and behaves wildly just because she is uncertain about her child’s future.

Miscarriage at 5 Months: Procedure

Actually, many people argue that a loss of fetus is not common, but in fact miscarriages are common, and those who’s undergone a miscarriage shy away from talking about it at all, and most of them end up distressed and ashamed and experience loneliness as if they are responsible for their loss while it’s a rare case for a woman to intentionally cause herself this kind of harm. But sometimes stressful events cause a miscarriage whereas a lot of them happen because of an abnormal number of chromosomes in the embryo.miscarriage at 5 months - a depressed young woman

In most cases when a woman notices any traces of bleeding, whether clearly visible or just little spots of blood, she should know that she might be expecting a miscarriage and immediately visit a medical expert in order to take proper care of herself. Also, some women may notice blood clots, and this is clearly a sign that the lady needs to seek medical attention about it in advance before things get serious.

The Causes of a Miscarriage at 5 Months

Vaginal bleeding which happens during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy raises alarm about miscarriage possibilities because it differs from bleeding in the first 3 months of pregnancy as expected and what is considered to be normal for a pregnant woman. This actually does not mean bleeding during implantation is a sign of a miscarriage because of a few blood spots early in term. This blood is lighter than the normal menstrual period as they call it, but the woman must also take caution because a prolonged and heavy bleeding can as well be a sign of a miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy.

Women are at risk at this stage because an ectopic pregnancy can also be life-threatening to the pregnant woman. A heavy bleeding in early pregnancy time should be a reason to call your healthcare provider. A quick test will determine if there are risk factors of an impending miscarriage.miscarriage at 5 months - woman after a miscarriage

What usually brings women a lot of concern during pregnancy period is implantation bleeding at large. In this case, you can see a small amount of spotting similar to miscarriage signs discussed earlier but this spotting is associated with the normal implantation of the fetus into the uterine wall. What ladies should know here is that implantation bleeding is minor, but in the case of its frequent occurrence one can mistake it for a period, the result being the woman not aware of her pregnancy.
